Is there anything wrong with pink colored guns? No, but there are those (mostly guys) who complain about it. Magpul even sells pink colored versions of some of their AR-15 parts, so they know what sells and that women are one of the most important new groups of potential customers.
If someone wants to add pink parts to their gun to make it cute, let them. It’s the same reasoning some guys refinish their guns in multicam or whatever finish they think is badass to them.
Bright colors make it look like a toy, though. It’s a bad idea to paint a toy gun black, and it’s probably also a bad idea to paint a real gun pink (or blue or yellow or orange).
